THE DM'S FOR THE WIN

For a while, Ryan and Maria had followed each other on social media. Ryan would always be "hearting" Maria's stuff. Anything and everything she was posting, he wanted to make sure she saw his name. Eventually, Maria started doing the same thing to Ryan. Ryan being the guy he is (sipping on bourbon of course), reached out to Maria and told her how good she was looking in her photos and asked her out on a date. Of course, Maria said "Nahhhhh. Thanks though." Ryan was absolutely persistent in trying to hit her up and asking her out to go to a couple of concerts he "magically had extra tickets for." Again, and again...Ryan was rejected. Anyway, Ryan went to the concert without her and went with his brother instead. While at said concert, Ryan might have had one too many of those fancy $20 beers (still not thrilled about those prices), and decided to reach out to Maria one more time. He told her "Theres a lot of good-looking women at this concert, no doubt. But there's none that look as good as you. It sure would be a much better concert if I was sharing this moment with you." Rumor has it Maria had a giddy-school girl smile upon her face for a while reading that. Maria finally gave in and gave Ryan her number. They talked for hours through text while he was at that concert. He asked Maria if sometime during the next week he could take her to lunch....SHE SAID YES!! Anyway, that lunch date came and at the end of the date, she agreed to on another date with Ryan. Boy was she in a world of trouble now agreeing to that. While waiting on the next date to come up, Maria and Ryan talked daily, facetimed most nights just so he could see her pretty smile. By date number 3, Ryan was head over heels for Maria and told her "I'm going to marry you. You just dont know it yet." Maria chuckled and told him he was stupid. The days only continued to get better and better. The love grew so strong between Maria and Ryan. They became inseparable. From coming from different previous lives, the one thing was clear: Love. A conversation came up one day where Ryan told Maria, "My parents always told me that when you know about someone who you're supposed to spend your life with, YOULL KNOW." Maria agreed and said she felt the same way. After talking with Maria's dad, he asked for permission to spend the rest of his life with his daughter. He agreed. The rest has been history and has led us to where we are now. The moral of the story? Don't give up hope. She will answer those DM's one day...or you'll get a VPO filed against you. It's a fine line!
